Our Palm Leaf product line is both elegant and durable, allowing you to use it in the microwave as well as in the oven up to 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Our dinnerware from fallen leaves/palm leaf plate line is produced in India, there are no leaves in North America that work for this process. We own our factory where all of our workers receive fair wages in safe working conditions and are provided access to medical care. Palm leaf plate line is non-toxic dinnerware. Because our products are made with only leaves and water, VerTerra dinnerware is completely non-toxic. You can serve meals on our products straight out of the package! All VerTerra dinnerware is cleaned and go through a UV light bath in our factory no less than three times, so they’re extremely clean. Since our products are made from leaves, they’re compostable, non-toxic, and will naturally return to the earth in 2 months. This process uses 90% less energy than recycling. Unlike many companies that outsource production to cut costs, we proudly own all of our production facilities so that we can ensure the highest manufacturing standards and working conditions for our employees.
Ditch Those Harmful Chemicals – Unlike our competitors, we do not use any chemicals in our manufacturing process. Cheaper imitations like bamboo plates are NOT 100% compostable. We have special BPI certification because we know how important the earth is to our customers.
USE FOR DRY OR WET FOOD, HOT OR COLD – VerTerra can handle liquids like soups and sauces, as well any temperature. Our palm leaf plates withstand up to two minutes in the microwave or 45 minutes in a 350° F oven, kept 6-inches from heat elements.
THE ENVIRONMENT THANKS YOU – We only use water and fallen palm leaves to craft our palm leaf dinnerware. No trees are ever harmed, and our products are BPI certified compostable.
