All SHXWELL oxygen absorbers are packaged and vacuum-sealed immediately after production and are never repackaged to prevent oxygen exposure and maximize their potency and shelf life.
Extra Thick
The thickness is 10.5 mil, one side is as thick as 5.25 mil. It has an added internal layer of aluminum foil which provides excellent durability, puncture resistance, and prevents light and air permeation to keep your food safe, ensure that you can store your food for a longer period.
If mylar bags are used with oxygen absorbers, please make sure to remove as much air as possible from them. These will not normally look like they have full vacuum packaging, as these absorbers only target oxygen. Other gases comprise 79% of the atmosphere, but do not impact long-term food storage. If you need vacuum-sealing, please use a professional vacuum sealer.
If these bags have pinholes on their base after folding, this is due to the metallic properties of their middle layer’s aluminum foil. This is normal, as their internal PE and external PET materials are not damaged and still suited for vacuum sealing.
